With Links Choice and our Tee It Again brand we are using our 25 plus years of perfecting golf ball recycling to promote our THINK GREEN philosophy:
Production/Shipping –
• Recycled Golf Balls use less natural resources than the production of new golf balls.
• Multiple warehouses means more efficient shipping and less road time using less natural resources.
Packaging –
• Redesigned packaging to use a thinner caliper while providing better rigidity.
• LC is now using a common 15 ball set that allows production efficiencies (Pricing and natural resources) to be maintained among different products and product lines.
• This 15 ball set also reduced the per/unit usage of packaging.
• The insert was revised for have a smaller foot print, but to maintain the rigidity needed.
Future Options –
• LC is currently looking at redesigning the 12 ball set to be fitted. Thus reducing the amount of raw material used on their primary lines.
• The insert has been removed, and the balls are providing much of the rigidity needed, practically reducing 1/3 ~ 1/2 of the paper raw materials.
• LC is also looking into supplying sets in SBS or CNK in efforts to be more environmentally friendly.
Print Production –
• CSN uses UV inks that are low in VOC’s.
• CSN does purchase 10% of our energy from renewable resources.
• CSN is an MBE and is registered in several states as participants.
• LC & CSN does minimize the carbon footprint by grouping production runs, as well as, shipping.
• CSN will become FSC certified in July/August upon passing audit.
