To Whom It May Concern: This note is to commend the team at Links Choice for producing a product which not only drives sales but margins far above expectation. Meadowbrook Golf has been working with Steve, Gerald and the Links Choice team for more than seven years and over that time, the product has evolved and improved. The golf balls themselves all look "out of the box" new every time. The packaging has become one of the best parts of the service. Packaging today is fantastic. It is fresh and contemporary. When positioned in the shop, the boxes blend right into the presentation in a seamless way, making this product become an integral part of the profit story. There is no absolutely no downside to this product. Many shops may assume that by selling this product, it would hurt sales; and even harm relationships with the ball brands. All of this is unfounded and untrue. Just as there are customers for new and used vehicles, there exist both golfers that want the best and others that want the "best deal". Over these past seven years, Meadowbrook Golf properties have found it easy for both product segments to coexist in our shops and turn well. Know that these "experienced" products will always produce higher margins than new product as well as cost less per unit box. Making more while spending less is the dream of every retailer; Links Choice does that in their niche. Links Choice has continued to work on presentation and packaging that supports the golf shop. As mentioned earlier, the product today is creative, professional and easily fits today's consumer expectations. At times we have run into one or two golf professionals that were reluctant to bring in "experienced" golf balls as they might not fit with their image. However, after negotiating an order, they saw the value to the product. It quickly changed their perceptions of this niche and is now part of our profit story. In today's world where a pro shop must compete with big stores and the internet, finding profitable niches is essential to everyday success and sustainability. These doubting golf pros are now solid fans of the program. I want to again thank the team at Links Choice for producing a product that is easy to buy, easy to sell and that produces great margin. It is also important to recognize the changes that have taken place over the years as this company has made great strides to fit nicely into the modem golf shop. Thank you for all you have done to improve our business. You bring a better product to our shops with people that respond well to our needs.
